The linked device feature on WhatsApp allows you to use one WhatsApp account on forth different mobile devices. This means that you can access your chats, messages, and contacts on both devices, as long as they are connected to the internet.
To operate one WhatsApp account on two mobiles using the linked device feature, follow these steps:
- On the first mobile device, open WhatsApp and go to the settings menu.
- Scroll down and select the “Account” option.
- Under the “Account” menu, select the “Linked Devices” option.
- On the linked device’s screen, you will see a list of all the devices currently linked to your WhatsApp account.
- To add a new device, tap on the “Add New Device” button.
- WhatsApp will generate a QR code.
- On the second mobile device, open WhatsApp and go to the settings menu.
- Scroll down and select the “Account” option.
- Under the “Account” menu, select the “Linked Devices” option.
- Use the second mobile device’s camera to scan the QR code displayed on the first mobile device.
- On the linked device’s screen, tap on the “Scan QR Code” button.
- Once the QR code is scanned, the second mobile device will be linked to your WhatsApp account and you will be able to use the same account on both devices.
